Every vehicle that receives PPF must be thoroughly decontaminated and paintwork prepared. This includes clay barring, iron removal, tar removal and single stage machine polishing (at minimum). This allows the film to be applied to surface free of any contaminants as well as protective sealants, waxes or coatings.
A bare surface will allow the film to be installed more effectively and guarantee no lifting of edges.
Using a GRAPHTEC Plotter and utilising the XPEL DAP Software, we have access to a large amount of vehicle PPF templates. The plotter pre-cuts the film for an exact fit to your vehicle model and the best coverage.
